Log Book Servicing

Log book services are scheduled by manufacturers on a strict time or mileage basis to protect your warranty and keep your vehicle performing at its best. It is not a legal requirement to have these done at a dealership — as long as the scheduled items are addressed by suitably qualified people using fit-for-purpose parts and oils, your new vehicle warranty stays intact.

Our technicians are fully qualified, we only use high quality parts, oils and lubricants, and we follow book service schedules to the letter using industry-leading Solera AutoData software. Your new vehicle warranty is safe with us.

Routine / General Servicing

Routine servicing is critical to keeping your vehicle safe and reliable — oil and filters are cheap, but engines are not. Every B&A service includes a full front-to-back mechanical inspection, including brakes, tyres and suspension. We don’t cut corners, and anything that compromises safety is flagged with prioritised repair recommendations.

Every service is logged with detailed notes held permanently on your vehicle’s file — fully transparent and available any time, in hard or soft copy.

Brake, Clutch & Gearbox Repairs

We attend to all brake and clutch repairs using high quality components from trusted suppliers including Bendix, Textar, DBA, Exedy, IBS and Protex. Our experienced technicians ensure the job is done right the first time.

We also have strong relationships with reputable gearbox repair and reconditioning specialists who share our level of care and attention.

Transmission Servicing

We use Wynn’s TranSERVE equipment to efficiently service your automatic transmission. Unlike a standard drain-and-refill, which typically exchanges only 40–50% of fluid, TranSERVE achieves up to 100% exchange with no mixing of old and new fluid.

The process combines a fluid flush, fluid exchange and additive introduction, using high quality full synthetic transmission fluid for extended service intervals and maximum protection.

Radiators & Cooling System Repairs

A properly functioning cooling system is essential to the reliability and longevity of your vehicle — an overheating engine can cause extensive, sometimes catastrophic, damage in a very short time. Ignoring an overheating engine or a coolant leak is never a good idea.

We only use quality coolants as specified for your vehicle, and components sourced through industry-leading wholesale suppliers for radiators, water pumps, thermostats and hoses etc — quality parts at the right price.

Suspension & Steering Repairs

Worn steering and suspension components can make a vehicle unsafe — causing bad handling and steering that doesn’t match your inputs. There are many wear items to check at every service, including steering racks, rack ends, tie rod ends, shock absorbers, springs, bushes and ball joints.

We meticulously check every component at each service and use only high quality parts. Your safety is paramount to us.

DPF & Intake Cleaning

We use Wynn’s MultiSERVE equipment for autonomous Diesel Particulate Filter and intake cleaning on diesel and petrol vehicles. The system also performs fuel system cleaning and diesel turbocharger cleaning where required — safe, efficient, and requiring minimal parts disassembly.

Intake systems clogged with carbon or vapour deposits, and DPF systems that won’t recover via scheduled burns or scan tool intervention, are common on modern diesels. MultiSERVE resolves these issues quickly and efficiently.

We strive to do as much as possible in-house. Our technicians are highly experienced across the many makes and models that come through an independent workshop like ours every day, backed by quality equipment and tooling.

Wheel Alignments

Bad wheel alignment can negatively affect handling and lead to premature, irregular tyre wear. At B&A we can correctly align almost any vehicle.

Using high quality Ravaglioli wheel alignment equipment, alignment-specific vehicle hoists and multiple vehicle spec databases, our technicians get the right alignment result for your vehicle.

Batteries

B&A proudly supply and fit Delkor start batteries for most car, 4WD and light truck applications — high quality, long lasting and excellent value. We can also supply deep cycle, marine and motorcycle batteries, usually on a next-day basis.

Roadworthy Certificates / COI

B&A is an Authorised Inspection Station (AIS 10710) for light vehicle Roadworthy Certificates and Commercial Passenger Vehicle inspections (COI).

If you’re selling a vehicle or transferring ownership, a Roadworthy Certificate is mandatory in Queensland — we can get it sorted quickly.
